Microlearning: Social Media and your Spa!

This Microlearning episode features Spa Specialty Consultant, Victoria Perry where she talks about having a strategic approach to growing your spa division using social media.

There is a lot of misinformation when it comes to spa services. Social media can be a great way to share information and empower your clients to want to try new things and branch out from their skincare routines. Here are Victoria’s top three tips on growing your spa division using social media!

CREATE CONFIDENCE

Everything needs to move to video in skincare. A lot of times we talk about services and products and people think that it’s going to hurt or that it’s painful because they don’t know what to expect. We want to lessen their anxiety and make things more approachable. You can use iMovie to collect B roll footage and then share these videos on your social media channels.

SHOW OFFERS

Utilize Facebook Live to showcase your offers. Every Friday we showcase a different service provider who speaks about a specific department or service within our company. We like to rotate it to get everyone involved and excited about talking about the different offers and services! This is a great way to talk about your spa services like microblading, cupping or eyelash extensions.

POST REVIEWS

We have over 60 service providers and it is really important to post reviews WITHIN our private Facebook group with our team. It is really challenging to recognize a large team on a daily basis, so we like to make it a point to share those positive reviews within the group page so that we are all able to celebrate each other as a team and continue to strive to better our best. At the end of the day we want our team to feel proud of what they are doing when they come in every day.
